Beware of the Witchcrafts in the Church
Some dangers can appear inside the church, around spiritual activities, leadership, relationships, money, influence, and even ministry.
Read messageDon’t give up your God is still near you.

Theme: Your present season is not your final destination.
Key Scripture:
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5
There are moments in life when everything seems to go wrong at once.
You pray, but the answer seems delayed.
You work hard, but nothing seems to move.
You trust people, but they disappoint you.
You start something with excitement, but suddenly you experience failure.
You believe God, yet your circumstances seem to be saying the opposite.
And then a dangerous thought enters your mind:
“Maybe I should just give up.”
But hear this clearly:
A bad season is not a bad life.
A difficult chapter is not the end of the book.
A delayed answer is not a denied destiny.
Somebody listening to this message may be judging their entire life because of what they are experiencing right now.
Don’t.
Winter is a season, not a permanent climate.
There are things God is doing in you during a difficult season that you may not yet understand.
So today, I came with one message:
“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33
Notice what Jesus said.
He did not say, “You will never have trouble.”
He said:
“You shall have tribulation.”
Trouble is real.
But notice the second part:
“Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Your trouble may be real, but Christ is greater than your trouble.
There are seasons of:
Waiting
Failure
Financial pressure
Rejection
Disappointment
Loneliness
Confusion
Spiritual dryness
Family challenges
Closed doors
But seasons change.
The same God who carried you through yesterday can carry you through today.
Don’t make a permanent decision because of a temporary situation.
2. 🌱 GOD CAN USE A BAD SEASON TO PREPARE YOU FOR A BETTER ONE.
Consider Joseph.
Joseph received a dream from God.
But after the dream came:
Betrayal
Rejection
The pit
Slavery
False accusation
Prison
Imagine Joseph sitting in prison thinking:
“God gave me a dream. Why am I here?”
But the prison was not the end of Joseph’s story.
It was part of his preparation.
Eventually, Joseph moved from the prison to the palace.
Genesis 50:20 says:
“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good…”
Joseph’s story teaches us something powerful:
What looks like a setback may become part of God’s preparation.
The pit was not Joseph’s destination.
The prison was not his destination.
The process was preparing him for the position.
You may be in your own “prison season” today.
Don’t give up.
God can still write another chapter.
3. 🔥 DON’T LET A SEASON OF FAILURE MAKE YOU FORGET YOUR GOD.
Peter experienced failure.
He told Jesus he would never deny Him.
Yet Peter denied Jesus three times.
Imagine the shame.
He had failed publicly.
But Jesus did not throw Peter away.
After His resurrection, Jesus went looking for Peter.
In John 21, Jesus restored him.
This is important:
Your failure may describe something you did, but it does not have to define who you become.
You failed?
Get up.
You made a mistake?
Learn.
You lost something?
Grieve, but keep moving.
You were rejected?
Don’t reject yourself.
You fell?
Rise again.
Proverbs 24:16 says:
“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.”
The evidence that you belong to God is not that you never fall.
Sometimes the evidence is that you refuse to stay down.
4. 🌅 KEEP GOING WHEN YOU CANNOT SEE THE END.
One of the hardest things about a difficult season is that you cannot see what comes next.
You can see today’s problem.
But you cannot see tomorrow’s breakthrough.
That’s where faith becomes important.
2 Corinthians 5:7:
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
Faith does not mean pretending that the problem doesn’t exist.
Faith means saying:
“The problem exists, but God is still greater.”
You may not know how God will do it.
You may not know when He will do it.
You may not understand why you are going through it.
But you can still trust Him.
Don’t abandon God because you cannot understand God’s process.
5. 🕊️ REMEMBER: GOD IS STILL WITH YOU IN THE BAD SEASON.
One of the greatest promises in Scripture is found in Isaiah 43:2:
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee…”
God did not say:
“You will never pass through waters.”
He said:
“When you pass through them, I will be with you.”
That changes everything.
The presence of God does not mean there will never be a storm.
It means you will not face the storm alone.
David understood this.
He wrote:
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.” — Psalm 23:4
Notice the word:
THROUGH.
David didn’t build a house in the valley.
He walked through it.
Your valley has an exit.
Don’t stop walking.
Hannah experienced a painful season.
She desired a child but remained childless.
She was mocked and emotionally wounded.
Yet Hannah kept going to God.
1 Samuel 1:10 says:
“And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.”
Hannah didn’t pretend everything was fine.
She cried.
She prayed.
She poured out her heart before God.
Eventually, God answered her prayer, and Samuel was born.
But there is something deeper here.
Hannah’s tears became part of her testimony.
What was once a source of pain eventually became a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
Your present tears do not necessarily mean your story will end in tears.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep walking.
Maybe you are listening to this message and saying:
“Pastor, I am tired.”
God understands.
You don’t have to pretend to be strong every day.
There are moments when you can cry.
There are moments when you can say, “Lord, I don’t understand.”
But after the tears…
Get back up.
After the disappointment…
Get back up.
After the failure…
Get back up.
After the rejection…
Get back up.
Not because everything is already perfect—
but because God is not finished with you.
Maybe this is the chapter where you are crying.
But don’t quit here.
Maybe this is the chapter where you are waiting.
Don’t quit here.
Maybe this is the chapter where you failed.
Don’t quit here.
Maybe this is the chapter where people rejected you.
Don’t quit here.
You haven’t seen the whole story yet.
Remember Joseph.
The pit wasn’t the end.
Remember Peter.
His denial wasn’t the end.
Remember Hannah.
Her tears weren’t the end.
Remember David.
The valley wasn’t the end.
And remember Jesus Christ.
The cross wasn’t the end.
There was resurrection!
So, child of God:
Your season may be difficult, but God is still faithful.
Your situation may be painful, but God is still present.
Your progress may be slow, but God is still working.
Your story may look unfinished, but God is not finished.
KEEP PRAYING.
KEEP BELIEVING.
KEEP WALKING.
KEEP TRUSTING GOD.
The season will change.
And when it does, you may look back and say:
“I almost gave up—but God carried me through.”
Don’t quit in the middle of the story.
There is still another chapter.
